Our Projects – Desludging

THE PROBLEM: By time, sludge built up underneath the effluent pond causing incoming effluent to float at limited space and duration across the surface. Thus, the retention time is reduced down to declare inefficiency of the facility.

DESLUDGING: Sludge is excavated from the effluent pond. Retention time will then be restored, simultaneously solving BOD problem.  The operator or mill owner is required to obtain written permission from the Director of Department of Environment (DOE) prior to commencement of the desludging works. Envsolve had been involved in obtaining the written permission on the mills behalf. Some of our clients include Pinang POM, Bornion POM and Ladang Sabah POM.
